The White Dove Collection

Monday 29 September, 2014

Inspired by the peaceful protestors of the 1960s, our White Dove Collection is a snapshot of a revolutionary movement, refined into a range of beautifully crafted pieces. Flower Power was a slogan in the late 1960’s for passive resistance and non-violence ideology. Rooted in opposition to the Vietnam War, the symbols of the movement transformed war protests into peaceful messages.

The hippy uniform at the time was created from the abundant surplus of army clothing available. Our Autumn/Winter capsule contains military styling combined with symbols of peace, from embroidered flowers to the unique White Dove motif. Coats feature warm shearling collars, our Swedish Parka in particular is a stand out piece, which was shot for GQ magazine earlier this year.

Bold knitwear contrasts with soft denim shirts and we’ve even reworked our signature Paisley in a new colour way especially for this collection. Limited and truly special, the White Dove Collection is an exciting blend of past and present presented in an unforgettable selection of key pieces.
