Northern Soul Fist: The Making Of

A standout design in the Northern Soul movement is the fist logo. A motif from the Black Power movement symbolising solidarity and support and adopted by Northern Soul fans to show their allegiance to the movement.
In order to achieve a true ‘Northern Soul’ identity within the collection, we created our own version of this iconic symbol. To give it our own ‘Pretty Green’ spin we traced a linear outline of Liam’s fist and developed this into a design, combining with the phrase ‘Pretty Green, Live Forever.’
The logo replaces the usual Pretty Green branding within the collection, features on a printed tee and is available as a metal badge accessory.
